Chiffchaff
Phylloscopus collybita

A common leaf warbler, the Chiffchaff thrives in diverse wooded and scrubby settings, frequently close to water bodies. Its distinct song, a choppy double-noted chiff-chaff pattern, sets it apart from the Willow Warbler. Compared to its counterpart, the Chiffchaff exhibits a more subdued appearance, overall brownish hue, fainter pale eyebrow, dark legs, and a characteristic habit of tail dipping. Resembling Booted and Sykes''s Warblers, it stands out with its duller tones, darker legs, and bill.
